RGB participates in a pan-european scale project called SAFE21.
RGB has developed under the SAFE21 project a monitor with special ergonomy that provides
telemonitoring as an expansion of social alarm systems. The SAFE21 tele-monitoring system has
the possibility for patients to take their own vital signs measurements at home and via the
social alarm control centre the responsible medical doctor can examine the data.
RGB MEDICAL DEVICES, S.A. offers solutions designed to suit the needs of home patients,
with a multiparameter monitor that can collect vital signs information to capture an
objective view of the patient�s condition.
The collected data are then remotely sent through telephone line to a control centre,
which in turn conveys the information to the physician in charge via Internet.
In case that some alarm or emergency conditions are detected, there will be a continual
means of communication with the person, so that urgent helping actions can take place.
The objective is to make the person feel secure and assisted at all times.
Among others, target medical application areas are in
cardiovascular and lung functionality surveillance.
