RGB Medical Devices, S.A. was established in 1988. The initial objective of
the company was in the development of advanced medical devices and
consultancy in the area of Bioengineering. Amongst the different pioneering
devices manufactured by the company is the Baricontrol. This device is being
used in clinical operations and intensive care units for arterial blood
pressure regulation with an automatic dosification of vasoactive drugs;
it has become the first robotic device to provide automatical medical
assistance, with comparable and stable performance as compared to trained
medical personnel.
In 1992, RGB Medical Devices,S.A. moved into the manufacturing field with a
wide range of vital signs multiparameter monitoring products called Omicrom
ST, which was launched in the Interhospital�93 exhibition in Hannover.
Currently, RGB has incorporated a broad number of new products and monitors,
including Omicrom FT and Omicrom Premium.
RGB is a well established company
ranking among the most technologically advanced in the medical industry in
Spain. As a whole, along with these products, is experiencing a rapid
growth in the last years. It participates in several major transnational
advanced projects.
